Wade A. Collins

Wade A. Collins, age 51 of Baraboo, passed away Saturday, Nov. 17, 2018 doing what he loved best, being outdoors.Wade was born Sept. 27, 1967 to parents, Delores "De" and Gary Collins in Baraboo. Wade was an alumni of Baraboo High School and earned his GED in the Navy which he proudly served for 4 years. Wade was employed at Seneca Foods in Baraboo since 2013 until his untimely death. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, Packer and Badger fan. He also loved to do woodworking and construction projects which he did for family and friends. Anyone of his facebook friends also saw how he liked to cook on the grill and proudly showed his pictures of what he cooked. His love for family and friends and helping out anyone he could will be sadly missed.Wade is survived by his mother, Delores "De" Collins; father Gary Collins; two daughters, Megan and Rachael Collins; sister, Tiffany (David) McPheeters; brothers, Clint (Brandy) Collins, Shane (Liza) Collins; nieces, Sylvia and Samara Collins and nephews, Liam Collins and Graydon McPheeters. He is further survived by his girlfriend, Stephanie Davey and numerous relatives and friends.Wade was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Arthur and Elizabeth Weinke; paternal grandparents, Albert and Elizabeth Collins and his nephew, Trevin Collins.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Monday, Nov. 26, 2018 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jared Holzhuter officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Burial will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery where military rites will be conducted. Memorials to the family are greatly appreciated.Per request of the family in remembrance of Wade, we ask you to wear a hoodie and jeans or casual wear as anyone who knew Wade that was his favorite thing to wear.The family of Wade would like to say a special Thank You to the First Responders and Game Wardens.
