Kathleen Rindfleisch


Kathleen "Katie" Rindfleisch, age 94 of Baraboo passed away peacefully with family by her side on Sunday, Nov. 18, 2018 at St. Clare Meadows Care Center. Kathleen, daughter of Charles and Elizabeth (Franzke) Dennis was born Nov. 3, 1924 in Baraboo. She was a graduate of Baraboo High School, Class of 1942. On March 29, 1947 she was united in marriage to John "Jack" Rindfleisch at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Katie was employed by Klein Industries until her retirement. In 1968 she and her husband, Jack purchased and co-owned what became the Hiway House Supper Club. She enjoyed sewing for the hospital auxiliary as well as many special gifts for family and friends. Katie was a former Daughters of Isabella member and also belonged to the local Homemakers Club for many years.Survivors include her children, Mike (Betsy) Rindfleisch, Tim Rindfleisch, Kathy (Scott) Hill, John (Lynn) Rindfleisch, Sara Sefkar, Anne Hollinsed and Kelly Rindfleisch; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sister, Joan Coughlin as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack; sisters, Mary Gehrke and Eleanor Woodworth; son-in-law, Doug Hollinsed; grandson-in-law, Jimmy Foley; grandson-in-law, Ronny Frankenberry and great-grandson, Christopher Foley.A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2018 at 12, noon at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Jay Poster officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until the time of mass at the church. Inurnment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at St. Clare Meadows for the care and love given to Katie over the last few years. The Redlin Funeral Home is assisting the family.
