Nola Jeanne Sprecher

Nola Jeanne Sprecher, age 94 of Baraboo, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, November 3, 2018. Nola, daughter of Noble and Harriet (Hood) Sprecher was born August 15, 1924. She was a graduate of Baraboo High School, Class of 1942. Throughout her working career, she worked for JCPenney and then Baraboo National Bank (Baraboo State Bank) for 42 years. Nola was a devout Christian and member of Emanuel United Methodist Church. She was very special to all who knew her. She loved spending time with her family and friends as much as they loved spending time with her.Nola is survived by her siblings, Rod Sprecher, Leonard "Bud" (Demi) Sprecher, and Shari Schell all of Baraboo. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.Nola was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, George Sprecher, John (Barb) Sprecher, Bonnie (Bill) Cole, Mary (Richard) Krueger; brother-in-law, Tom Schell; sister-in-law, Jackie Sprecher; niece, Kelly Schell; great-nephew, Elijah Braun, and great-niece, Rylee Schell.The family would like to thank all those who took care of Nola, especially the staff at St. Clare Meadows.A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 12, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Emanuel United Methodist Church, with Pastor Blake Overlien officiating. Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Burial will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery. Redlin Funeral Home is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a place of animal rescue, a local Veterans organization or Emanuel United Methodist Church.Let Nola's life encourage us to open our eyes, ears, and hearts to reconcile the common good and dignity of all.
