Kay Getschman

Kay Getschman, age 80, of Baraboo passed away Friday, Oct. 26, 2018 at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison, Kay, daughter of Luther and Tina (Kebel) Standiford was born Sept. 22, 1938 in Lake Delton. She was a graduate of Baraboo High School, Class of 1956. Kay was employed by Baraboo Co-op and Industrial Coils in the offices until her retirement. On March 15, 1974 she was united in marriage to Ray Getschman in Baraboo. In her retirement she enjoyed summer days on her deck with her dog listening to her beloved Milwaukee Brewers.Survivors include her loving husband of 44 years, Ray; daughter, Renee Hart; granddaughter, Kelsie (Shawn) Schmidt; brother, Jim (Helen) Standiford and many nieces and nephews. She is further survived by brothers-in-law, Donald Getschman, Glen (Jan) Getschman, and Rex Getschman.Kay was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Shirley (Ted) Brandt, Audrey (Lester) Small, Fern (Allen) Lau and Gordon (MarSue) Standiford; and her son-in-law, Jon Hart.Per Kay's wishes there will be no services. The Redlin Funeral Home is assisting the family.
