Darlene Marie (Schell) (nee Ulrich) Biesek

Darlene Marie (Schell) (nee Ulrich) Biesek, age 70 of Baraboo passed away on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at home surrounded by her family. Darlene, daughter of Obert and Edith (Harman) Ulrich was born in Baraboo on Sept. 12, 1948. She was baptized on April 17, 1949 at North Freedom Methodist Church. Darlene was a graduate of Baraboo High School. She was employed by Teel Plastic, Harmony Bar and most recently Wal-Mart in Baraboo. On June 23, 2001 she was united in marriage to Eugene Biesek at St. Joseph Catholic Church. In her free time she enjoyed feeding the squirrels and birds and tending to her flowers. Her family will remember her for her green thumb when it came to caring for her house plants.Survivors include her husband, Eugene; children, Robert Brownell, Becky Brownell, Jennifer (Keith) Kohlmeyer; step-children, Jim (Michelle) Schell, Terrie (Roger) Hicks, Leslie Pogreba, Katrina (Greg) Borkenhagen, Eugene (Mary) Biesek, Jr.; grandchildren, Jayson, Jordyan, Tanner, Justin, Aaron, Meredith, Mike, Alan, Charlie, Patrick, Janelle, Emily, Abigail, Alois, Shawn, Melissa, Kelsey, Thomas, Andrew, Heather; brother, Marvin (Linda) Ulrich; sister, Jeanne (Donald) Thurston and Janice (Robert) Bergman; many sisters and brothers-in-law and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Richard Brownell and Richard Schell; brothers, Ronald Ulrich and Eugene Ulrich; and her step-daughter, Brenda Buelow.A prayer service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2018 at Redlin Funeral Home with Father Jay Poster officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 15, 2018 at the funeral home as well as from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home on Tuesday. Inurnment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
