David Fulton Robertson


David "Robbie" Fulton Robertson of Baraboo, was born on July 4, 1943, and he loved his freedom! He left us on September 23, 2018 at the age of 75.Born to Daniel and Doris Robertson in Detroit, MI, the family moved to Los Angeles, CA when he was two, and except for his tour of duty for the Army in Germany during the Vietnam era and a brief residence in NV, he spent the next 70 years in SoCal. He moved to Baraboo, WI June of 2015, when it became evident he could not manage on his own after a stroke.He lived most of his life in Woodland Hills, CA. Robbie graduated from UC-Northridge with a business degree. He worked an assortment of jobs - a time for Arthur Anderson, managed a toy store, but his favorite gig was manager of a gourmet shop in Beverly Hills, where he was a wine advisor to "the stars." He was most passionate about wine, baseball, fantasy football and Yosemite Valley deep sea fishing!His parents and sister, Deborah preceded him in death. He is survived by his daughter Julie (Bob) Ledford; grandchildren, Lee and Jack of Edmonds, WA; sister and caretaker extraordinaire, Deri Ament of Baraboo; niece, Darci (Andrew) Tronick of Seaside, CA; and ultra devoted nephew Douglas, (Steph) Ament of Washburn, WI. Many thanks to his posse of lifetime pals - Mark, Bob, Randy and Digger. Significant Baraboo friends, Joel and Rick. Also, the marvelous staff at Greenbriar Assisted Living, Baraboo must be thanked.No services will be held. If you wish to remember Robbie in a special way, a donation to the VFW would be meaningful.
