Mary Deppe

Mary Deppe, age 79 of Baraboo passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2018. Mary, daughter of Irv and Jean (Brady) Thayer was born June 19, 1939. She was a graduate of Baraboo High School, Class of 1957. Mary enjoyed working at Broadway Liquor Mart for many years. She served on the Baraboo Police and Fire Commission for many years, assisting with elections amongst other tasks. In her early years Mary enjoyed bowling and golfing.Survivors include her son, Tim (Tracy) Deppe; daughter, Teri Smith; grandchildren; Willie (Nicole) Deppe and Johnny (Amanda) Deppe, Hailee (Thad Jason) Hengstler and Kristin Henrickson; great-grandchildren, Addisen, Grady, Tatum, Danica and Stella. She is further survived by her brothers, Dave (Joanne) Thayer and Jim Thayer; the father of her children, Dave (Jan) Deppe as well as other relatives and many friends.She was preceded in death by her parents.A Celebration of Life will be held at Baraboo Country Club on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2018 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. The Redlin Funeral Home is assisting the family.
