Dean T. Brice

Dean T. Brice, age 78, of Baraboo passed away Thursday, August 9, 2018 at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King, WI, surrounded by his loving family. Dean, son of Ora and Esther (Johnson) Brice, was born on Sept. 27, 1939 in Lime Ridge, WI. He joined the United States Air Force in Nov. 23, 1959 and was honorably discharged on April 29, 1963.On Dec. 19, 1964 he was united in marriage to Judy Wilson at First United Methodist Church. Dean was employed by Seneca Food's as an inspector up until his retirement.He enjoyed watching the Wisconsin Badgers, Milwaukee Brewers and Packers. In his free time he also liked doing crossword puzzles.He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Judy of Baraboo; daughter, Debbie (Kurt) Fleming and their children, Jason and Leeann Fleming all of Arpin; daughter, Mary (Jeff) Byers and their children, Andy, Douglas, and Erica Byers all of Waupaca. He is further survived by his siblings, Pauline Wiseheart, Jim Brice and Janet Brice all of Baraboo; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.He was preceded in death by his parents, Ora and Esther Brice; in-laws, Walt and Vera Wilson; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Leon Gehri; and brothers-in-law, Don and Bill Wilson and Keith Wiseheart.A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Aug. 25, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Redlin Funeral Home with Dave Brice officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Military rites will be conducted following the service. Burial will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family to be donated to charity in Dean's name. Redlin Funeral Home is assisting the family.
