Delores Nieman

Delores Nieman, age 93, of Baraboo, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 25, 2018. She was born in Sauk County and was the daughter of Henry and Marie (Steinhorst) Hanusa. On June 24th, 1948, Delores married Roger Nieman at St. John's Lutheran Church in Prairie du Sac. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Baraboo, where she was actively involved in their Ladies Aid.Delores was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; her step-mother, Ethel; her brother, Donald; and her sister, Inez.She is survived by her two daughters, Carolyn (Mark) Spencer and Rita (Fred) Westerfeldt; 4 grandchildren Neal, Bryan, Kyler, and Brenden (Ashley); her sister, Dorothy; and many dear nieces, nephews, and relatives.Funeral service will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church in Baraboo on Monday, July 2nd, 2018 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Kuske officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Burial will follow the service at the Walnut Hill Cemetery in Baraboo.We wish to thank Dr. Carlson, Meadow View, and Agrace.
