Amy Lynn Cone

Amy Lynn Cone, age 59, passed away unexpectedly at home on April 22, 2018 in Baraboo. Amy was born in Baraboo on March 6, 1959, the daughter of John Norton and Barbara Jean (Ameigh) Cone. She graduated from Baraboo High School in 1977 and then worked at Seneca Foods Corporation for 35 years. She recently enjoyed working weekends at Fawn Creek Winery in Wisconsin Dells. Amy was a proud and amazing mother and grandmother, spending any minute she could with her grandsons. She was so looking forward to attending her daughter's wedding next month and will be dearly missed. She had a quiet but loving personality that endeared her to others and had many friends to whom she was fiercely loyal. In her spare time, Amy loved gardening, holiday decorating, making pudding shots for every occasion and visiting antique malls. She also had a passion for rescuing and fostering dogs. Amy believed that life was always better with a good tan and a cup of iced coffee in her hand. Amy is survived by her two children, Spencer (Bri) Cone and Mackenzie (fianc Kenny Stoklosa) Cone both of Baraboo; her two grandsons, Jack and Elijah; brothers, Michael (Diana) Cone of Baraboo, Donald (Julie) Cone of Reedsburg and Ricky Cone of Pardeeville. She is further survived by two dear aunts, Jessie Schubring of Baraboo and Carol Schultz of Beaver Dam, many loving nieces, nephews and friends, as well as a community of close cousins, many of whom considered her a sister. A celebration of Amy's life will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at 5:30 p.m. at Walnut Hill Bible Church, 1900 East St., Baraboo, WI. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sauk County Humane Society or Expeditions Unlimited.
