Mary G. Weiland

Mary G. Weiland passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family at the age of 67. She was born March 30, 1951 in Reedsburg, the only daughter of Gene and Alice Schyvinch. On Feb. 26, 1984 she was united in marriage to Robert Weiland. Mary worked in the orthopedic field for many years in the Baraboo area. In her free time Mary loved to travel, especially to her cabin up north to go snowmobiling and 4-wheeling. Mary lived her life to the fullest, all the way up to her last days. Friends and family will remember Mary for having a huge, generous heart and would be willing to give the shirt off her back for anyone in need. She will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her.She is survived by her husband, Bob; mother, Alice Schyvinch; brother, Gary (Denise) Schyvinch; son, Matt (Justine) Weiland; step-sons, Doug (Melissa), Jim, Mike Weiland; grandchildren, Austin, Hailey, Jake, Jared, Jamie, and Brianna; she is further survived by her sister-in-law, Nan (Dan) Weiland; brother-in-law, Pat (Vicki) Weiland as well as loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.She was preceded in death by her father.A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 12, noon at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Jay Poster officiating. Visitation will be held at church from 9 a.m. until the time of mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be greatly appreciated.The Weiland family would like to thank her healthcare team, compassionate caregivers and her friends who provided support to the family. No matter who Mary met she touch their lives.
