Erma Klotz

Erma M. Klotz, age 95 of Baraboo passed away Monday, Jan. 1, 2018 at St. Clare Meadows. Erma, daughter of Christian and Anna (Baumgartner) Huber was born Sept. 24, 1922. On April 3, 1943 she was united in marriage to Allen V. Klotz; he preceded her in death on April 7, 2003. Erma worked for over 35 years for F. W. Woolworth Dime Store. In her free time she loved to sew, play cards and garden. Every spring she looked forward to watching the baby ducks that were born next to her house. Erma was a longtime member of the Baraboo Elk's Club and Denzer United Methodist Church. She is survived by her brother-in-law, Charlie SaLoutos; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Allen; sisters, Nora, Marie, Gertrude and Florence. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018 at Denzer United Methodist Church in Denzer with Pastor Carol Quinn officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow at Denzer United Methodist Cemetery. The Redlin Funeral Home is assisting the family.
