Anita Bures


Anita Bures passed away on Sunday, Nov. 26, 2017 at St. Clare Hospice House in Baraboo. She was born to Frances and Arden Kitchen on Sept. 7, 1934 in Madison, WI. She married Douglas Martin on Jan. 7, 1951 and her second marriage was to Louis Bures on April 24, 1987. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, brother and sister. She is survived by her eight children, Carolyn (Eugene) Deniger, Kenneth (Denise) Martin, Barbara (Donn) Renning, Annette Johnson, Delores (Roy) Klavitter, Kathy McKelvey, Brian (Peggy) Martin and Sandra (Dave) Gianneschi. She is further survived by 21 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She lived a full life and enjoyed all her family and many friends. Christmas was always a favorite time of year for her and she enjoyed decorating and looking at all the lights and her collection of Santa Claus. Outside of Christmas, she was known for her large collection of ceramic ducks, spread throughout her house and outside. She will be missed. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, Dec. 1, 2017 at Redlin Funeral Home at 11 a.m. with Pastor Lisa Newberry officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, Nov. 30, 2017 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. and on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Home Health United Hospice, Baraboo. Anita's family would like to give a special thanks to all the Hospice nurses and caregivers for watching over her and providing to her comfort and care.
