Mike Andersen

Mike Andersen passed away peacefully at his home November 7, 2017. His favorite thing in the world was spending time with his family - they meant the world to him. His second love was traveling anywhere. He learned to love hiking and backpacking at Glacier National Park and his training ground was Devils Lake State Park. Mike is survived by his loving wife Rhonda of 35 years, his daughter Erin Andersen, Madison, son Christopher (Dr. Desire') Andersen of St. Joseph, MI and his little bundle of joy grandson Ethan Michael. Walton Beach, FL, brothers Kevin Andersen, MO and Mark (Annette) Andersen, Clinton, MO, grandma Dolores Andersen of Burlington, IL and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, in-laws and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Karen (Schairer) Andersen, his step mother Hazel (Moore) Andersen and his grandparents Louis Schairer, Everett Andersen and M. Jean Schairer. Mike will be greatly missed by anyone who knew him. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Redlin Funeral Home with Pastor Jonathan Tipton presiding.
