Jennie Frank


Jennie Frank, age 90 of Baraboo passed away on Sunday, Oct. 15, 2017 at St. Clare Hospital surrounded by family after a brief battle with cancer. Jennie, daughter of Wesley and Goldie (Guist) Rice was born Oct. 12, 1927 in Ojibwa, WI. She worked as an assembler at Eagle Signal for 27 years and then as a home health aide for three years until her retirement. In her free time Jennie enjoyed dancing, baby sitting, country music, taking walks and taking drives or watching t.v. with her special friend, Betty Finn. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family. Survivors include her children, Sharon (Gary) Schubring of Baraboo, Roger Frank of Baraboo, Kay (Robert) Griffin of Baraboo and Mike Frank of Baraboo; seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; brother, Mike Rice of Florida; sister, Julia Leistikow of Franklin as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Judith Belter; brothers, Raymond Rice and Don Rice and sisters, Merladene Artz, Bonnie Kosharek and Josie Randall. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 11 a.m. at New Life Community Advent Christian Church with Pastor Jesse Stevens officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Inurnment will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery.The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Carlson, the staff at St. Clare Hospital and Pastor Jesse Stevens for the care and concern shown to Jennie.
