Nancy A. Pretsch, age 49 of Baraboo passed away Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Sauk Prairie Healthcare. Nancy daughter of Kenneth Pretsch, Sr. and Darlene Cypher was born April 19, 1968 in Beloit WI with a defective heart. Most of her school years were at Hillsboro, WI . She graduated at Beloit High School. Nancy came to Baraboo to be with her family where she worked at Devil's Head Ski Resort, Dairy Queen, Wisconsin Cheeseman and Wal-Mart. Her favorite outing was watching her son play sports. Nancy's hobbies were playing cards and doing beadwork crafts.She is survived by her mother, Darlene (Richard) Cypher of Baraboo; son, Joshua Pretsch of Baraboo; 4 brothers, Kenneth Pretsch of Beloit, Ronald (Sandy) Pretsch of Baraboo, George (Joanne) Rettammel of Portage, Daniel Rettammel of Baraboo; 2 sisters, Vicki (Randal) Boehm of Mauston, Cindy (DJ) Gabbard of Beloit and many other nephews nieces and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Pretsch Sr.; brother, Stephen Pretsch; and two nephews. Memorial services will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 11:00 am with Pastor Nick Maglietto officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until the time of service at the church. The Redlin Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
