Michael Dennis Fuhrman, 68 of Baraboo, passed away peacefully with his wife, Susan and good friend, Patty Russell by his side on Friday, Aug. 25, 2017. Michael was born on Dec. 5, 1948 in Milwaukee to the late Warren "Mike" Fuhrman and Virginia (Austin) Fuhrman. He married Susan Bauer on Nov. 18, 1972. Their marriage was blessed with two sons. He attended Dominican High School, and Marquette University. He was honorably discharged from the US Army National Guard. He retired from Kwik Trip in 2011. He enjoyed spending time with his family. His grandchildren were the loves of his life.Michael is survived by his loving wife, Susan; son, Michael Jr. (Heather) and grandchildren, Samantha, Elizabeth and Michael III; son, Robert (Jenelle) and grandchildren, Tanner, Austin, Kayli and Olivia; sister, Patricia (James) Lein and nephews, Christopher and David; sister-in-law, Fran (Jim) Prouxl; brother-in-law, Joseph (Carol) Bauer and nieces, Elizabeth (Jonathon) Giencke and Amy (Randall) Jung; sister-in-law, Lynn Bauer and good friends, Jan and Jim Edwards. He is also survived by other family members and friends.He was preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law, John Bauer; mother-in-law, Elenore (Cwiklinski) Bauer and brother-in-law, John "Bucky" Bauer as well as special friend, Chuck Bluma.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2017 at 12, noon at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Jared Holzhuter officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:30am until the time of mass at the church on Wednesday. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery where military rites will be conducted. The Redlin Funeral Home is assisting the family.
