Linda Kay Ironmonger


Linda Kay Ironmonger, long-time bartender/manager at Parish's Bar and beverage server at Ho-Chunk Casino, passed away peacefully at her home in Lake Delton July 7, 2017 after a long fight with cancer. She was born December 28, 1950 to Jesse and Theresa (Goerks) Leatherberry in Baraboo. She loved to garden, cook, spend time with family and friends, travel to Florida, and fish, particularly in Canada. She was well known for her unbelievable passion for hosting social events/dinners for friends and family that was only matched by her amazing heart and willingness to help others.She is survived by her significant other, Bruce Lindauer, Lake Delton. She is further survived by her, sister, Shirley Schroeder, Middleton, brothers, Dave (Dee) Leatherberry, Baraboo and Gary (Pat) Leatherberry, Rhode Island, stepsons, Tom (Amy) LaMarche, Cottage Grove and Dan LaMarche (Loganville), many other loving family and close friends, and beloved dog, Sly.Along with her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Nancy Leatherberry, and nephew, James VonBehren.Linda's family and Bruce would like to thank Dr. Mary Ellen Sabourin and Dr. Greg Hartig for their exceptional care given to her.Memorials in Linda's name may be sent to University of Wisconsin Foundation, U.S. Bank Lockbox 78807, Milwaukee, WI 53278-0807, or online to https://secure.supportuw.org/give/?custom=med04&group=carbone.It was Linda's desire to further medical knowledge by participating in the UW Body Donor Program.
