Rebecca A. "Becky" Heiser


Rebecca A. "Becky" Heiser, age 64 of Baraboo passed away Monday, May 29, 2017 at University Wisconsin Hospital. Rebecca, daughter of Alfred and Louise Kissinger was born December 24, 1952 in Wisconsin Rapids. She was united in marriage to Ralph Heiser on August 26, 1972. Becky worked as a nurse at St. Clare Hospital from Sept. 1972 until Feb. 1985; at that time she started working for Medical Associates, assisting many doctors with their practice. She began working primarily with Dr. Marc Meier and developed a special working bond with him that lasted 23 years. She loved her career as an LPN. She took great pride in her children and grandchildren. Becky loved to have them in the kitchen when she was baking things, especially her homemade bread, always telling them that the dough had to feel 'just right'. She enjoyed reading, quilting, singing in the church choir, traveling, and socializing with people of all ages. Becky and Ralph were also active members of the Wisconsin Woodland Owners Association. Survivors include her husband, Ralph; two sons, Jacob (Megan) Heiser of Monticello, WI, Adam (Suzanne) Heiser of Baraboo, WI and five grandchildren; Lucas, Caleb, Ashton, Clayton, Ava; three sisters, Yvonne Ellie of Wisconsin Rapids, Donna (Henry) Tambornine of Sturtevant, WI, Mary (Gary) Mitchell of Auburndale, WI; 4 brothers, Everett (Kris) Kissinger of Petersburg, AK, Bill (Kay) Kissinger of Sobieski, WI, Will (Sue) Kissinger of Clancy, MT and Jeff (Beth) Kissinger of Vesper, WI.She was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Suzie (Bob) Wallner and Janet (Marv) Walloch.A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 2, 2017 at 11 a.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Pastor Karen Hofstad officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2017 from 4 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Redlin Funeral Home as well as from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church on Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Friends of the Baraboo Zoo - River Otter Display. Redlin Funeral Home is assisting the family.
