Joanne M. Pieper- Camden


Joanne M. Pieper, age 70, formerly of Baraboo, passed away peacefully at home on April 7, 2017 in Camden, AR., after a battle with cancer. She was born May 4, 1946 to Joseph and Geraldine (Lede) Obadal in Phillips, WI. On May 10, 1969 she married Edwin A. Pieper in Phillips, WI.Joanne served two years in the United States Army. She worked at Badger Ammunition Plant outside of Baraboo, WI., for a few years. Joanne then went on to work for Flambeau Plastics in Baraboo where she worked as a shipping clerk for many years until retirement. She lived in Baraboo for many years until in 2012 she moved to Camden, Arkansas to be close to her daughter Pam.Joanne is survived by daughter, Pamela (Jack Mitchell) Pieper of Camden, AR; sisters, Carol Ponshock, Barb (George) Meives; brothers, John (Maggie) Obadal, Tom Obadal all of Phillips, WI; brother-in-law, August (Bev) Pieper of Madison, WI.; sister-in-law, Lea (Tom) Goodney of Platteville, WI; step sister-in-law, Brenda Rotzoll of Baraboo, WI.; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She is proceeded in death by her parents; her husband, Ed; and son, Gregory.A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 from 9 A.M. until 10:30 A.M. at Redlin Funeral Home. A graveside prayer service and burial will follow at 11:00 A.M. that same day at Tucker Cemetery in Greenfield Township, WI.
