Robert Leroy Sefkar

Robert "Bob" Leroy Sefkar, age 75 of Baraboo died on Friday, April 7, 2017 at St. Clare Hospital. Robert, son of Emanuel and Meta (Radke) Sefkar was born May 31, 1941 in Reedsburg. He was baptized at St. Paul's Lutheran Church (Big Creek), LaValle. He graduated from Reedsburg High School, Class of 1959. On Dec. 8, 1961 he was united in marriage to Karin Meyer. He worked over 40 years in thermal insulation for various companies and was a member of Local Unions 19 and 127. Bob was a member of Lake Redstone Property Owners Association and served as vice-president for a period. He was an active member of St. John's Lutheran Church. In his free time he loved spending time at Bert East' and Lake Redstone.Survivors include his loving wife of over 54 years, Karin; son, Rich Sefkar; granddaughter, Maddy; sisters, Arnita (Ron) Templin and Marilyn (Dennis) Catterson; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.He was preceded in death by his parents.A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at St. John's Lutheran Church with Pastor Nick Maglietto officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 10, 2017 at Redlin Funeral Home from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. and at the church on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be held at a later date.
