Lloyd Thomas Byxbe, age 85, of Baraboo, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, April 1, 2017. Lloyd, son of Frederick and Mary Etta (Davis) Byxbe was born October 18, 1931 in Greenville, Illinois. He served in the Army during the Korean War.Lloyd loved spending time with his family. He was involved in many clubs over the years in Baraboo. For over 40 years he traveled all over the Midwest as a multiline representative for promotional products. He helped organize relief efforts during hurricane Hugo and Katrina.Survivors include his loving wife, Karen (Frye) Byxbe; son, Rob (Karen) Byxbe of Baraboo, Tom Byxbe of Sebring, Florida, Sally Byxbe of Sebring, Florida; 9 grandchildren, Rachel, Jonathan, Stephanie, Brandon, Justin, Valerie, Grace, Tom, Caroline; 3 great-grandchildren; sister, Maxine Burke of Greenville, Illinois as well as many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; 4 brothers, Melvin, Earl, Bob and Gene.Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. at Walnut Hill Bible Church, 1900 East Street, Baraboo, with Pastor David Hutchens officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery where military rites will be conducted.
