Ida Elenora Johnson, age 98, of Baraboo passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2017. She was the daughter of Joseph and Delia (Anderson) Reed. Ida married Elmer Johnson on June 15, 1941. They were married for 67 years. She and Elmer spent the winters for many years in Mesa, AZ where Ida painted many paintings which her family has. She enjoyed playing bridge with her friends. She and Elmer liked to travel and took many trips and cruises. Ida was a member of the Inter-Se Club of Baraboo and a member of the First United Methodist Church and active in the United Methodist Women Organization.Ida is survived by three sons: Robert (Nancy) Johnson of Baraboo, Jerry (Carol) Johnson of Wis. Rapids, David (Zonda) Johnson of Zionsville, IN and one daughter, Lynda (Steve) Stegmeier of Longmont, CO. Three grandchildren: Andrew (Lisa) Johnson of Rock Springs, Kellie (Matt) Barr of Indianapolis, IN and Joshua Stegmeier of Longmont, CO. Four great grandchildren, Lindsay and Alexis Johnson of Rock Springs and Kieran and Jocelyn Barr of Indianapolis, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Elmer, six brothers and three sisters.Visitation will be held before the service at First united Methodist Church on Friday, March 24 at 10 a.m. Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church.
