Charlene Armstrong, 86, known to family as "Chick" passed away Thursday, March 16, 2017. Loving mother, devoted to her family, a woman who is remembered by her smiling happy nature and giving heart. She was the support our father needed during his last years with dementia. Where she went he was able to follow. You seldom saw one without the other. She lost the love of her life 7 weeks prior so it was now her turn to follow and join him in heaven.She is survived by her sons, Jim (MaryLou) and Bob; daughter, Sandi (Mark) Nelson; her brother, Bud Jones; sisters, Mary Finnan and Pat Wurtz; grandchildren, Brian Nelson, Jennifer Parlich and Scott Armstrong; great-grandchildren, Alannah, Eliza, Keegan, Alexis and Damien.She was preceded in death by her husband, William; sons, Rick and Dennis; granddaughter, Amy; brother, Richard; and her sister, Sharon.A graveside service is planned on June 12, 2017 at Walnut Hill Cemetery followed by a Celebration of Life at Devil's Lake - South Shore. The Redlin Funeral Home is assisting the family.
