The pair united in marriage at their home on September 15th, 1985. Between the two of them they shared 12 children, 20 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Quirky and carefree, this jokester made it her mission to fill the room with laughter, her presence warm and full of joy. Love came effortlessly for Nancy, it was in her nature to nurture and care for all people, from all walks of life. Her enjoyment of indulging in anything made of or with ham will always be remembered! You could often find her wearing any type of silly hat, disguise glasses, various wigs, or just about anything that would ensure a smile! Never one to turn down a game of Yahtzee or Dots and Boxes, especially with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren! She had an array of interests including: gardening, bird watching, crafting & sewing, fishing, dancing, traveling, musical instruments, attending concerts, but most of all; cherishing moments with her loved ones. Her rather large, beautifully blended family, was known to bring her the utmost happiness. Nancy was sentimental, often caught photographing candid moments. She treasured her photos and loved to relive moments by storytelling. Her memories were very dear to her. Genuinely missing those that had passed before her, we are confident that Nancy has found comfort and sheer happiness being reunited with close relatives and friends. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Greenbriar for the care you've shown Nancy over the last two years. She adored the staff as well as the other residents who became like family to her. We would also like to thank Home Health United and ContinuUS for all their support.Visitation will be held at Redlin Funeral Home on Thursday January 26th, 2017 at 11 a.m. until the time of services beginning at 1 p.m. followed by burial at Walnut Hill Cemetery.
