When Royal returned home, he accepted employment as Local Manager of the Sunbeam Bakery and the family moved to Baraboo where Mary Jo, Gary and Rick were born. Several years after high school, "Stewie" married her high school sweetheart Duane "Twink" Schultz. This was a short marriage, but the friendship continued. Later, Diana married Gene Zick of Prairie du Sac. Diana and the children spent many happy times with the Zick families. Diana enjoyed talking about the summers when she and Sandy visited their paternal grandparents, Roy and Elizabeth Stewart, in Galesville.
