Rebecca R. Hannagan


Rebecca "Becky" R. Hannagan, age 64 of Baraboo, died on Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2016 at St. Clare Hospice House with friends and family by her side after a five year battle with Leiomyosarcoma; a rare soft tissue cancer. Rebecca, daughter of Frank C. and Winnifred (Currie) Tibbetts, was born Sept. 28, 1951 in Crosby/Ironton, Minnesota. After over 20 years of employment, she retired from Land's End in Reedsburg in 2012. She also served as President of the St. Clare Hospital Auxiliary in Baraboo. In her free time, she enjoyed attending movies and participating in social gatherings with loved friends and family. She also enjoyed taking care of her beloved pets, Sparky and Harley, who kept her company and in good spirits through her final years. Becky also loved spending time with her grandchildren and attending their Baraboo sporting events. She was definitely a friend of Thunderbird athletics.Survivors include her children, Justin (Colleen) Hannagan, Ashley (Ryan Montie) Hannagan; grandchildren, Haley, Ryan and Alex Hannagan, Brookelyn and Amelia Montie; siblings, Currie (Connie) Tibbetts of Naples, Florida and Sally (Ed) Henslee of Crystal Lake, Illinois as well as other relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Gregory C. Tibbetts formerly of Baraboo.The family would like to thank Kathy Knight of Reedsburg for her dedicated care and devotion to Becky's wellbeing as her sickness progressed. We would also like to thank countless friends and relatives who kept our mother company throughout her last years and especially in her last month.Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2016 at 11 a.m. at New Life Community Advent Christian Church, 1919 Elizabeth St. in Baraboo with Pastor Jesse Stevens officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the church. A luncheon will follow in the church fellowship hall. If desired, memorials may be made to St. Clare Hospice House, 915 12th St. in Baraboo or brought to the memorial service. Redlin Funeral Home is assisting the family.
