William "Bill" Arthur Schubert
William "Bill" Arthur Schubert, age 101 of Baraboo died Sunday morning, July 31, 2016 at St. Clare Hospice House in Baraboo. He was born on December 14, 1914 in Milwaukee to Arthur and Natalie Schubert. Bill married Eleanor Schneller on Nov. 16, 1940 in Milwaukee. She preceded him in death on Feb. 24, 2010. Bill worked for Allis Chalmers in Baraboo for 40 years and retired in 1977. He is survived by two sons, Jeffry (Sharon) and Gary; granddaughters, Mary Lou and Sarah Schubert; two great-grandchildren, Alex and Christopher. A private celebration of Bill's life will be held by close family. Thank you to the staff at Oak Park Place and St. Clare Hospice House for their kindness and care.
