Marilyn E. Howell, age 81 of Endeavor joined her husband in heaven on Thursday, July 21, 2016. Marilyn, daughter of Lawrence and Evelyn (Aulis) Burke was born on Sept. 13, 1934 in Massachusetts. She attended West Suburban School of Nursing, Wheaton College and graduated with her nursing degree. On Sept. 10, 1955 she was united in marriage to Lawrence "Wes" Howell in Winthrop, MA. She worked at various hospitals and as a school nurse. Marilyn was actively involved in numerous church activities and charity organizations. She is survived by her children, Deborah (Bill) Corbett of Gurnee, IL, Douglas (Denise) Howell of Mukwonago, WI, Greg (Carleen) Howell of Minneapolis, MN and Keith (Shari) Howell of Lakeville, MN; nine grandchildren, Ruth, Rebecca, Mary and Samuel all of Minneapolis, MN, Curtis, Courtney and Darin of Mukwonago, WI and Dana and Brooke of Lakeville, MN; she is further survived by her brothers, Larry Burke, Roger (Maddie) Burke; sister, Judith Burke as well as other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wes and her in-laws. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Walnut Hill Bible Church with Pastor Dave Hutchens officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church. A private burial will be held at Walnut Hill Cemetery. The Redlin Funeral Home is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Walnut Hill Bible Church, Baraboo, WI or Samaritan's Purse.
