Karen Dombroski, age 67 of Baraboo passed away on Sunday, Feb. 28, 2016 at Meriter Hospital in Madison. Karen, daughter of Fritz and Gladys (Hewitt) Steinke was born Aug. 31, 1948. She was employed by the Wisconsin Dells Greyhound Racing track for six years and later worked for several years as a manager of a local gas station in the Baraboo/Portage area. In her free time she enjoyed attending Freedom in Christ Church and spending time with her Bible class. Joys in her life were her many nieces and nephews.She is survived by siblings Elizabeth McWane, William (Clella) Steinke, David (Diane) Steinke, Mary Bonnin, Rochelle (Eddie) Nelson, Linda (Jeff) Klean; special niece, Melanie Reeson as well as other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Richard "Papa" Gregory and Jack Dombroski; and her son, Ricky Gregory.Memorial Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 4, 2016 at Freedom In Christ Church, 409 4th St. in Baraboo with Pastor Randy Zeman officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
