Andrew Massong passed away January 17, 2016, at the age of 87 at St. Clare Hospital in Baraboo. He was born in 1928 in Kikinda, Yugoslavia, and immigrated to the United States in 1949 with his parents and his sister, Catherine, entering in Chicago and eventually settling in Reedsburg. He worked in the woolen mill, where he met his wife Joyce (Powell) Massong and they were married November 18, 1952. He was an active member and worked at St. Joseph's Catholic Church and school in Baraboo for many years and enjoyed being a member of the Knights of Columbus.Andy is survived by his wife, Joyce; his four children, Linda (Jim) Crisafulli, Mike Massong, Mary (Bill) Imray, and Pam (Brad) Zersen; and his five grandchildren, Matthew (Jennifer) Crisafulli, Rebecca Crisafulli, Adam (Angel) Massong, Dustin (Brit) Imray and Chelsey (Riley) Ruegsegger; as well as nine great-grandchildren; and his sister, Catherine Powell.He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Clouse and Tony; and one sister, Medie.A memorial mass will be held on Thursday, Jan. 21, 2016 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Jay Poster officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of mass at the church. The Knights of Columbus will pray the Rosary at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday in honor of Andy. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. The Redlin Funeral Home is assisting the family.
