Jefferey David Lauver, age 60 of Sun Prairie passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2015. Jefferey, son of Floyd "Larry" Lauver and Elaine (Stieve) Zellmer was born Oct. 14, 1955 in Baraboo. He was baptized and confirmed at St. John's Lutheran Church in Baraboo. He was a graduate of Baraboo High School, Class of 1974. He graduated from MATC-Madison with an Associate's Degree in Tool and Dye. Jeff worked as a tool and dye machinist in the Madison area his entire career until his recent retirement. Jeff was an adventurous soul with hobbies including skydiving, scuba diving, downhill skiing, and motocross. Even with being so adventurous he still enjoyed his relaxation which included playing golf and reading. Survivors include his sisters, Diana (Ron) Rupert, Rae (Kirk Meicher) Litscher, Lori (Tom) Lauver-Tobin, Jennifer (Chad Schemehorn) Emhoff all of Baraboo; brothers, Guy (Steve Obershaw) Lauver of Madison and Roy (Angie) Zellmer of Baraboo; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and many friends.He was preceded in death by his parents; and fiance, Sharon Hohl.Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Redlin Funeral Home with Pastor Jonathan Tipton officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Inurnment will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery.
