Linda S. Carlock


On Nov. 18, 2015 at the age of 66 Linda Sue Carlock passed quietly away while in the company of her greatest treasure, her family. Linda, daughter of Matthew and Anita (Moore) Bartol was born April 21, 1949 in Chicago. She leaves behind her beloved husband of 47 years, James Carlock; children, Tammy (Bud) Seufzer of Wisconsin Dells, Julie (Tom) Cutrell of Baraboo, Tanya (David) Forbush of Papillion, Nebraska, James (Carla) Carlock of Baraboo and Tiffany (Ben Harrison) Carlock of Baraboo. She was blessed with a step-daughter, Paige (Scott) Kilpatrick of Evergreen, Colorado. In addition she leaves her much adored grandchildren, Jacob Faber, Jared and Jason Seufzer, Brendan, Tierney and Teague Cutrell, David Jr. and Marcus Forbush, Sophie Carlock, Alexa (John) Meyer, and Dylan Plant and two great-grandchildren, Titus and Enoch Meyer. Linda also leaves behind her brothers, Jay (Judy) Bartol, Kevin Bartol, Jeff (Lynn) Bartol, Joe (Lori) Bartol, Kris (Debbie) Bartol as well as her sisters, Carol Bartol, Anita (Jeff) Meyer; brother-in-law, David Hyser as well as many other relatives and friends.  While she leaves many behind to miss her, she will be rejoined with her parents, Matthew and Anita Bartol as well as her sister, Elizabeth Hyser; son-in-law, Gary Faber and grandson, Joel Seufzer. Linda had a great love of music and sang for many years with the Monroe Chamber Orchestra as well as with her church choir. Along with that love for music, she also enjoyed reading, crocheting and her love for all animals. Please join her family as they rejoice in her life, and hand her over into God's loving hands on Sunday, Nov. 22, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. Holy Cross Episcopal Church, 322 Unity Drive in Wisconsin Dells with Father Al Majkrzak officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service at the church. A private inurnment will be held at a later date.
