Ervin "Erv" F. Janowiak, age 91, of Baraboo passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at his home. Erv was born the son of Edmund and Anna (Wozniak) Janowiak on February 17, 1924 in Milwaukee. He was united in marriage to Henrietta Goetz on August 17, 1946 in Milwaukee; she preceded him in death in 2011.Erv is survived by his children, Susan (Richard) Hurst, Jane (Robert) Constance, and Steven (Janie) Janowiak; three grandchildren, Zachary, Ryan, and Kristin; as well as many other relatives and friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015 at 12 p.m. at Redlin Funeral Home with Pastor Jonathan Tipton officiating. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Military Rites conducted by Baraboo Veterans Honor Guard will follow the service at the funeral home.The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of Erv's Wisconsin River neighbors, who were always there to lend a helping hand.
