Johannes Harjung

Johannes"Johann" Harjung, age 75, of Baraboo passed away on Friday, September 4, 2015 at the Maplewood Nursing Home in Sauk City. He was born on July 25, 1940 in Yugoslavia to Jakob and Eva (Monk) Harjung. He was united in marriage to Rosemarie Stach on July 25, 1960. Johann owned and operated a wood working business for forty years before he retired in 2007.Johannes is survived by his children, Thomas (Lori) Harjung of Westfield, Peter Harjung of Baraboo, Daniel (Victoria) Harjung of Whitewater, and John Harjung of Baraboo; grandchildren, Joseph Harjung, Jesica (Andy) Flint, Wesley (Alexandra) Harjung, Robert (Stephanie) Fedorovich, Addison (Jackie) Harjung and Ashley Harjung; great-grandchildren, William and Sam Flint, and Timothy Harjung. He is further survived by his siblings, Madeline (Anton) Wenzel and Jack (Theresa) Harjung; as well as many other relatives and friends.He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Rosemarie; and brother, Adam Harjung.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00PM on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Baraboo. Visitation will take place from 12:00PM Noon, until the time of service at the church. Burial will immediately follow the service at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. The Redlin Funeral Home is assisting the family.
