Donald "Donnie" Strampe, Jr. age 61 of Rock Springs passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2015 at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg. Donnie was born Feb. 16, 1954 in Janesville to Donald and Janice (Fisher) Strampe Sr. In his free time Donnie enjoyed hunting and fishing.Survivors include his mother, Janice; son, Drae (Kristin)Strampe; daughter, Mickie Strampe; granddaughters, Seairra, Madison and Isabelle; sisters, Julie (Dennis) Krueger and Laura (Victor, Sr.) Sanchez; nieces, Dawn Borchardt, Avelina Velasquez; nephew, Victor Sanchez, Jr. as well as other relatives and friends.He was preceded in death by his father.Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Redlin Funeral Home with Pastor Jonathan Tipton officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Fairfield Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.The family would like to extend a special thank you to Agrace HospiceCare for their loving care and support as well as Patricia Dahl for being there for Donnie.
