Dennis Buelow


Dennis Buelow, age 72, of Baraboo passed away Sunday, August 23, 2015 at St. Clare Meadows following a brief battle with cancer. He was born on February 25, 1943 to Norton and Dorothy Buelow. Dennis was employed as a truck driver by several construction companies in the area. He enjoyed camping with his many friends, playing cards, and was an avid fan of watching NASCAR, the Green Bay Packers, Wisconsin Badgers, and the Milwaukee Brewers.  Dennis is survived by his significant-other, Sharon "Punky" Dombroski; her daughter, Dev (Jim) Dorner of Baraboo; granddaughters, Chandra (Nathaniel) Christensen of Lyndon Station, Alyssa Dorner of Wisconsin Dells, Brianna Dorner of Fond du Lac; and great-grandson, Sawyer James of Lyndon Station; and a brother, Charles (Juanita) Buelow of Baraboo. He is also survived by his beloved dog and loyal companion, Madi. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Thomas Buelow . Memorial Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, August 31, 2015 at Redlin Funeral Home with Pastor Karen Hofstad officiating. Visitation will take place from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to SJS Cancer Support Team of Baraboo or the Sauk County Humane Society. The family would like to express a sincere thank you to the staff at St. Clare Meadows for their wonderful care and compassion of Denny during his final weeks.
