Joan Martin, age 75, of Baraboo passed away suddenly on Monday, August 10, 2015 at her home. She was born to Clifford and Wanda (Loomis) Wolkow. She was united in marriage to Donald Martin September 27, 1958. Joan was an active member of Emanuel United Methodist Church since 1958. She was also a member of The Emanuel Quilters. Many activities she enjoyed were roller skating, knitting, crocheting, baking, watching Wisconsin sports, and Disney vacations.Joan is survived by her husband, Donald; children, Darcy (Robert) Welke, Tersea Hanson, Jill Bradley; grandchildren, Matthew (Stephanie) Welke, Sarah Welke, Kimberly (Andrew) Rosene, Kayla Hanson; great-grandchild, Brianna Welke; and sister, Marge (William) Ramsey. She is further survived by many other friends and family.Joan was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Daniel Wolkow.A Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, August 23, 2015 at Emanuel United Methodist Church from 2PM until 5PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Emanuel Quilters or Emanuel United Methodist Church. Redlin Funeral Home is assisting the family.
