Elaine Ploof, age 53, of Baraboo passed away July 31, 2015 peacefully at home. She was born to Orval McCabe and Dorothy Big Thunder on December 10, 1961. She was married to David Ploof on March 15, 1996. Elaine was a cook first and foremost and an avid gardener. She was a kind hearted soul and would give to anyone. She loved being with her family and spending time with her grandchildren.Elaine is survived by her husband David; her children Michelle (Jeff) Samphere, Michael S.McCabe, Sabrina Eimer, Joseph M. Eimer III; Grandchildren Joshua, Michael, Kiara, Alexia, Carter, and Amelia; Sisters Kathy and Angie; Brother Eddie McCabe. She is further survived by beloved furry friend Smokie and many other friends and family.Services for Elaine will be held on Wednesday August 5, 2015 at Redlin Funeral Home at 12 Noon. Visitation will take place from 11AM until the time of service with Father Jay Poster officiating. Burial will take place at Rock Hill Cemetery.
