Clarence H. Schellenberger

Clarence H. Schellenberger, Baraboo Clarence H. Schellenberger, age 103 of Baraboo, passed away on Friday, May 29, 2015 at Maplewood of Sauk City.Clarence, son of Henry and Bertha (Hippler) Schellenberger was born May 16, 1912 in at home in Baraboo. On April 9, 1938 he was united in marriage to Myra Stieve at St. John's Lutheran Church's Parsonage in Baraboo; they celebrated 71 years of marriage. From a young age, Clarence helped his father run his dairy farm and helped farm a neighboring farm as well. He also drove dump truck for Deppe, worked for Carpenter Seed and helped in setting up auctions for the Gavin Bros. He was a longtime member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Baraboo.Survivors include his son, Donald (Pearl) Schellenberger of Baraboo; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Clarence was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Myra; daughter, Catherine (Richard) McKee; brother, Lawrence Schellenberger; and his sister, Esther Welch.Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Redlin Funeral Home with Pastor Ervine Vomhof officiating. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery.
