Audrey T. Hawkins

Audrey T. Hawkins, age 92, of Baraboo passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2015. She was born on March 21, 1922 to Carl and Clara (Lombard) Miller in Baraboo. Audrey was united in marriage to Russell Hawkins on April 20, 1946 in Baraboo.Audrey was a dedicated mother and wife, she enjoyed caring for her family. After her children were teenagers Audrey worked at the Eagle Signal until her retirement in 1987. She was an avid reader and also enjoyed bird watching. Her greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Audrey is survived by her children, Daniel (Peg) Hawkins of North Redington Beach, FL and Connie Hawkins of Baraboo; as well as eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her brother, Richard (Juanita) Miller of Philadelphia, PA; sister, Mae Owens of Madison; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Russell; and a granddaughter, Angela Hawkins.A private service will be held at a later date. The Redlin Funeral Home is assisting the family.
