Frederick M. Lehmann

Frederick M. Lehmann, age 72 of Baraboo died on Sunday, Dec 14, 2014 at St. Mary's Hospital. Frederick, son of Frederick Louis and Evelyn Arlene (Sconce) Lehmann was born Feb. 17, 1942 in Baraboo. He graduated from Baraboo High School in 1960. Following high school, Fred enlisted in the Red Arrow Division of the National Guard which he proudly served in for 28 years before retiring. On May 25, 1963 he was united in marriage to Marianne Ramsey at St. Joseph Catholic Church. In his free time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and wood working.Survivors include his wife, Marianne; son, Brian (Robin) Lehmann; grandchildren, Alan (fiance, Jamiee) McCannon, Tyler (Alex) Lehmann, Brian (Jill) Lehmann II; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Sharon (Jerry) Klingenmeyer, brothers-in-law, Walter (Donna) Ramsey, Ronald (Mary) Ramsey, Marvin (Rene) Ramsey, Melvin (Janet) Ramsey; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.He was preceded in death by his parents; step-mother, Mary Ann (Nachreiner) Lehmann; daughter, Vicki Lee McCannon; and granddaughter, Ashley McCannon.Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Dec. 18, 2014 at 11 am at Redlin Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 10 am until the time of services at the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery where Military Rites will be conducted by the Baraboo Veterans Honor Guard.
