Jeremy Ray Lentz, 39 of Baraboo passed away on Monday, December 1, 2014. Jeremy was born the son of Raymond and Billie (Anderson) Lentz on February 27, 1975 in Reedsburg. He was united in marriage to Melissa J. Goerks on October 9, 2006 in Hawaii. Jeremy loved the outdoors; some of his favorite activities were camping, hiking, canoeing, and biking. Family was incredibly important to Jeremy. He had a very special bond with his nieces and nephews, and cherished the time he spent with them. He will always be remembered as a truly loving husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend. Jeremy is survived by his wife, Melissa Lentz of Baraboo; mother, Billie Lentz of Mesa, AZ; siblings, Michael (Gail) Lentz of Mesa, AZ; Lonnie Lentz of Wisconsin; Charles (Mila) Lentz of Maysville, NC, and Carla Lentz of Baraboo. He is further survived by parents-in-law Keith and Kathy Goerks of Baraboo; sister-in-law, Michelle (Tom) Dees of Madison; brothers-in-law, Brian (Mary) Goerks, Mark Goerks, and Brent Goerks all of Baraboo; as well as many very special nieces and nephews, too numerous to name. He will be dearly missed by his two favorite companions, Bentley and Reagan, both wheaten terriers. A Private Memorial Service is being held in remembrance of Jeremy. Memorials may be made to the Walnut Hill Bible Church in Baraboo. The Redlin Funeral Home is assisting the family.
