Marcella M. Gaetzke of North Freedom
Marcella M. Gaetzke age 96, of North Freedom passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at The Sauk County Health Care Center. Marcella was born in the village of North Freedom May 23, 1918 to John and Sophia (Weinke) Brilliott. She was united in marriage to Erwin John Gaetzke on June 26, 1946. Marcella was a member of the North Freedom Baptist Church since June 6, 1943. She was a Sunday School teacher, a choir member, and was on the Church Kitchen Committee. Marcella is survived by a son, Don (Kathy) Gaetzke of Baraboo; grandchildren, Kristina (Ryan) Granger of La Crosse, Vicki (David) Banker of Madison. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Marcella was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and a sister, Genevieve Brilliott. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday November 29, 2014 at North Freedom Baptist Church with Pastor Okey Cogar officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until time of service, at the church. Burial will follow services at Oak Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the North Freedom Baptist Church. The family would like to thank the staff at The Sauk County Health Care Center for their care of Marcella
