Arthur A. Mason

Arthur A. Mason, Jr., age 56, of Reedsburg passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014 at home. Arthur, son of Arthur A. Mason, Sr. and Jane Valier was born on Jan. 13, 1958 in Minnesota. When Arthur was a child his family moved to Wauwatosa and later settled in Portage where he graduated from Portage High School in 1976. He loved movies, music, fishing at Devil's Lake and traveling as well as the Green Bay Packers. Most of all he loved watching his granddaughters play and grow together.He is survived by wife, Patricia; children, Crystal A. Mason, Arthur A. Mason III, Jennifer M. Mason; granddaughters, Destiny A. Jahn and Anastasia L. Josett; siblings, Betsy (Paul) Adams, Robert Mason, and Molly Esme. He is further survived by his mother-in-law Lacretta Premo; sisters-in-law, Lynn (Reiny) Gardner, Tory (Sam) Kucharski, Jennifer Caldwell; brother-in-law, Michael Premo; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur A. (Jane) Mason, Sr., and his step-mother, Helen L. Mason; father-in-law, Floyd J. Premo, Sr.; sisters-in-law, Nancy Mason and Judy Premo; brother-in-law, Floyd J. Premo, Jr.; niece, Meghan Mason and his best friend, Neal Williams.Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, Aug. 28, 2014 at 11 a.m. at First Church of the Nazarene in Baraboo with Rev. Phil Stein officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the church. The Redlin Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
