James V. Wedekind
James V. Wedekind, age 31, of Baraboo, passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2014. He was born on October 1, 1982 in Baraboo to Anthony and Mari Wedekind. James was united in marriage to Nicole Putz on May 23, 2003. He worked with his dad at Polar Air since he graduated from high school. His favorite pastime was fishing. James was a very loving father and his kids were his greatest joy in life. He will always be remembered as being a hard worker. James is survived by his wife, Nicole; his children, Logan and Aleah Wedekind; his parents, Tony and Mari; his sister, Danelle (Cory) Miller; two nephews, Haydn and Zander Miller; his paternal grandpa, Victor Wedekind; many aunts; uncles; cousins; other relatives and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Ellen Wedekind. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 4th, 2014 at the Redlin Funeral Home with Pastor Karen Hofstad officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday, from 9 a.m. until the time of services, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery in North Freedom.
