Steven M. Murwin


Steven M. Murwin, age 52, of Beaver Dam died unexpectedly on April 11, 2014. Steven, son of Oliver and Patricia (Long) Murwin, was born on August 7, 1961 in Edgerton. Steve attended Edgerton High School and later graduated from UW-Stevens Point with a Wildlife degree. He worked in the shipping and receiving department at Walgreens Distribution Center for many years. In his free time, Steve enjoyed bird watching, fishing, hiking, camping, wildlife photography and wood carving. He was also a member of the Horicon Marsh Bird Club.He is survived by his parents, Oliver and Patricia of Baraboo; brothers, Tony (Peggy) of Wonderlake, IL, Brian (Julie) of Janesville, Todd (Katie) of Scottsdale, AZ, and Tim (Linda) of DeForest. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, and great- nieces and nephews, all very special to their uncle Steve; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 310 2nd St. in Baraboo, Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at 11 a.m. with Father Jay Poster officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at the Redlin Funeral Home, 401 Madison Ave in Baraboo, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. and at the church on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of mass.
