Elaine D. Zellmer, 85, of Baraboo went to her heavenly home on Friday, March 14, 2014 at St. Clare Hospital. Born the daughter Edward and Eva (Harmon) Stieve on September 24, 1928 in Baraboo. Elaine was a long time member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Baraboo. Her greatest joy came from taking care of her children and grandchildren. Elaine is survived by her 6 children, Diana (Ron) Rupert of Baraboo, Rae Litscher (Kirk) of Baraboo, Jeff Lauver of Sun Prairie, Guy Lauver of Madison, Roy (Angie) Zellmer of Baraboo, and Jennifer Emhoff (Chad) of Baraboo; 11 grandchildren, Brent Rupert, Stacy McDonough, Debbie LaPean, Jeremy and Justin Litscher, Josh Lauver, Eileen Johnson, Emily Zellmer, Roy Zellmer II, and Kayla and Kacie Emhoff; 12 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; family friend, Steve. She is further survived by nieces; nephews, other relatives; and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Lester Stieve, and sister, Dorothy Zellmer. Memorial Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Baraboo with Pastor Carl Schroeder officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 17, 2014 from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. at Redlin Funeral Home, 401 Madison Ave, Baraboo. Continued visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service, at the church. The family would like to extend a special "Thank You" to Dr. Krszjzaniek, all of Elaine's family at St. Clare Meadows Care Center, and the medical staff at St. Clare Hospital for their great care and compassion.
