Anthony Lee Miller, age 63 of Baraboo, died on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at his home. Anthony, son of George William and Lois Loraine (Smith) Miller was born April 18, 1950 in Viroqua. Anthony proudly served his country in the United States Marines. He was united in marriage to Marlene Fitzpatrick on Dec. 9, 1972 in Sylvan. Anthony was employed by Plaecto, Lakeside Foods, Flambeau, Northern Plastics and Walmart over his working career. In his free time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing softball, watching NASCAR, but most of all he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.He is survived by his wife, Marlene of Baraboo; children, Anthony (Janet) Miller, Jr, Linda (Bob) Wade, Chad Miller, all of Baraboo, Tina (Chad Palmer) Miller of Reedsburg and Jason Miller of Baraboo; he is further survived by grandchildren, Ashley Wade, Jayden Miller, Samantha Miller; brothers, Norval (Alma), Mike (Sue), all of Viroqua, Joseph (Kim) of Florida; sisters, Geneva Serna of San Antonio, TX, Aleda (Tony) Marino of Belleville; as well as other relatives and friends.He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sisters, Ruth Wallace and Norma Dopp.Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Redlin Funeral Home with Pastor Thomas Dunbar officiating. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home. Military rites will be conducted by the Greenwood Memorial VFW Post 987 following the services at the funeral home.The family would like to thank Dr. Trina Hollatz in Pulmonary; Dr. Ethan Carlson in Family Medicine, the Home Health United Hospice Staff, Dr. S. Rajguru, Oncologist, for being optimistic and always giving hope and 'looking for the magic pill' as well as Pastor Tom Dunbar for being there during the difficult times.
