Lucille Page


Lucille Page, age 86, of Albany, formerly of Baraboo, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 23, 2014 surrounded by her family at her side at St. Mary's Hospital.She was born on January 9, 1928 in Leoti, Kansas. She moved to Wisconsin to work in Baraboo at the Badger Ammunition Plant, and later moved to Prairie du Sac, where she worked in a flower shop; flowers were one of her passions which she had a natural green thumb in whatever she grew. She opened a children's clothing store, Little Rascals.She spent the past 27 years of life with her beloved partner, Richard Armstrong. They lived in Stoughton for many years and upon retirement, moved to rural Albany, WI and enjoyed spending the warmer months of the year traveling in their motor coach to parts of the states. She and Richard belonged to the Family Motor Coach Association, through which they met many good friends in the Midwest Bus Nuts and other chapters. She loved to cook and try new recipes. She loved spending time with her grandsons and watching them grow up. Lucille is survived by her beloved partner, Richard Armstrong of Albany; her daughter, Pam Born of Cross Plains; and her son, Dave Born of Mazomanie; two grandsons, Brain Born and David Born. She is also survived by her brother, Clement (Evie) Bauck; and sister, Margaret Weiser, both of Leoti, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Theresa (Goetz) Bauck; and six siblings, all from Leoti, Kansas; along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.Lucille will be very missed by her friends and family, and her dear Corgi, Bailey.Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at 11:00am at Redlin Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00am until the time of service.
